Shipping policy

All orders, with the exception of signed paperbacks, are processed the same day. Orders for signed paperbacks will usually be processed within 3 business days.

Digital products

Ebooks and audiobooks are delivered by BookFunnel. With the exception of pre-orders, your books will be delivered about 5 minutes after you place your order. Pre-orders will be delivered on or before the date stated on the product page.

Physical products

At this time, we offer shipping of physical books to the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. If you’re in another country, please contact us at info@whitehartfiction.co.uk to discuss options.

Most paperbacks are shipped directly to you from the printer (BookVault). You will receive a notification from them when your order has shipped. If you’re in Australia, Canada, the UK, or the US, your order will be shipped domestically.

Signed paperbacks are sent by me via the post office in my neighbourhood (London, UK). That means I have to physically walk over there, so it may take a few days before I am able to do so. They will be sent via second-class post (or equivalent).

Shipping costs

Shipping within the UK

Regular paperbacks are shipped directly to you from the printer in the UK. We offer free shipping for orders of £25 or more. For orders of up to £24.99, shipping is charged at a flat rate of £4 per order.

Signed paperbacks: Shipping is charged at a flat rate of £4 per order.

Shipping to/within Canada

Regular paperbacks are shipped directly to you from the printer in Canada. We offer free shipping for orders of $40 or more. For orders of up to $39.99, shipping is charged at a flat rate of $12 per order.

Signed paperbacks: Shipping is charged at a flat rate of $15 per order.

Shipping to the EU

For boring tax reasons, I can’t sell paperbacks directly to you in the EU. But you can get them from your local bookshop.

Shipping to/within the US

Regular paperbacks are shipped directly to you from the printer in the USA. We offer free shipping for orders of $30 or more. For orders of up to $29.99, shipping charges will be calculated during checkout.

Signed paperbacks are not available in the USA as I don’t want either one of us to end up paying your stupid president’s stupid tariffs.

Shipping to/within Australia

Regular paperbacks are shipped directly to you from the printer in Australia. We offer free shipping for orders of $50 or more. For orders of up to $49.99, shipping is charged at a flat rate of $12 per order.

Signed paperbacks: Shipping is charged at a flat rate of $20 per order.

Shipping to New Zealand

It’s not cost-effective for me to sell paperbacks directly to you in New Zealand. But you can get them from your local bookshop.

Customs and VAT

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. White Hart Fiction is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
